Who am I?
Before I knew the field of public relations existed I was falling off bikes, playing every sport offered, and smelting with my dad at 3am - all in a rural Northern Maine town of 1,300. Trying to dig my way out of those townships has been a learning curve, but I recognize the perspective I bring to corporate spaces and how diversified upbringings can benefit organizations - wherever I get my start.
My initial plan of action was to pursue a career in STEM, and had accrued over 300 hours of lab experience prior to graduating. Despite the fact that I won’t spend much time in biological safety cabinet moving forward, I have still found ways to apply those passions to modern dreams and career aspirations.
Beyond my LinkedIn profile, I have many interests! I’ve played soccer my entire life, with the opportunity to play at the collegiate and semi-professional level these past four years. I’ve met nearly all of my favorite people on that turf, slide tackling most of them.
Speeding up now:
I have a cat, Doja - whom I love wholeheartedly, split custody with my mother of course.
My first job was working with my dad for his contracting business “to learn the value of a dollar” and my second was harvesting at a local farm!
My lifetime goal is to write a book about my grandmother Phyllis, who passed a few years ago.
If you were to ask my friends about me, they would tell you I’m witty, and start rattling off one liners of mine that they keep in the notes app.
